Financial Policy

In the event that payment is not made at the time of the session, Thriving Minds Health Services (TMHS) reserves the right not to schedule a further psychotherapy session until the payment has been fulfilled. In the event that a suspension of service is required due to nonpayment, (i.e. client has failed to make payment for more than one session) TMHS will develop a plan for emergent or interim services and address continuation of care.

No-Show/Late Cancellation

We understand that occasional missed appointments can occur for a variety of reasons. When you miss an appointment without cancelling, someone else who could have taken your time slot is delayed unnecessarily. We have started to track missed (non-cancelled) appointments. A “No-show/ Late Cancellation” is defined as missing an appointment without cancelling at least 24-hours before the scheduled time.

• There will be a $75.00 charged for missed or non-cancelled appointments.

Repeated missed appointment misconduct or a pattern of nonpayment may result in your provider (TMHS) sending a letter discharging you from the practice. We will offer 30 days of emergent care only and transfer your medical records when you find a new provider.

• Payment is due in full no later than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If no payment is made 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment, we will call and/or email you to reschedule for another appointment and you will be subject to the $75.00 cancellation fee.

• Payment is due in full at the time of service no exceptions.

• FMLA Packet — $75.00 (per packet)

• Letters — $75.00
