
About Luz Morrow Ph.D.
Luz Salamat Morrow earned her Ph.D. and Masters from Walden University in Clinical Psychology. Before immigrating from the Philippines, she obtained her Bachelor’s and Master of Arts in Psychology from University of Santo Tomas.
During her studies, she became passionate for the understanding of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Luz Morrow’s dissertation titled, “Effectiveness of Cognitive Rehabilitation as Memory Intervention for Elderly Adults with Dementia” (2017) became the primary focus of her practice.
Prior to her work as Administrator at TMHS, Luz was a social worker for South Los Angeles Regional Center and Desert Regional Center. It was her goal to help marginalized groups, such as the BIPOC and AAPI communities and adolescences with disabilities, find the resources they need to live a successful and fulfilling life.
